New Version of Netralia's VodBurner Takes VoIP Call Recording to a New Video LevelWhat would you be able to do if you could record a Skype (News - Alert) call and then use built-in video editing facilities within a VoIP call recording system? Netralia is making it possible for you to find out as the new version of VodBurner now allows users to easily create polished final productions from recorded calls. While recording in a VoIP environment has become almost second nature, video call recording presents a full range of new opportunities. Netralia recently announced a significant new version of the popular Video Call Recording & Editing Suite, VodBurner. This solution is the only Skype video call recorder on the market to offer built-in video editing facilities. A solution that started out with very basic editing features; the new version takes VodBurner's post-production console another step closer to being a fully-fledged video editor. Newly added features include Flexible Aspect (News - Alert) Ratios; Add Text; Add Picture; and Add Audio. With Flexible Aspect Ratios, users gain the ability to create finished videos in a range of different aspect ratios, including the basic 4:3 available in the original version, 16:9, 8:3 and a variety of other standard ratios. The 8:3 ratio provides a complete side-by-side view of both participants. The Add Text functionality offers the ability to add text to the video in post-production. In the newer version, the technology expands beyond single caption across the bottom of the video to allow any number of text items to be added. It also allows the user to change the font, background, color and other attributes. Add Picture allows for images to be added to the video in post-production. Add Audio provides the ability to add background audio and other audio to the recorded call. This capability extends to fading the audio in and out as well as other advanced features. A free product, VodBurner is used to record calls where both parties have the platform installed. All other callers can access the new features for free in the post-production console, but must have a subscription - at $9.95 per month - to include these features in the final video for sharing and publication. Netralia's VodBurner has been available for six months and now has more than 10,000 active users. The company also products the Skylook and CallBurner Skype apps and has been a provider of publishing software for Skype since 2005. This latest platform enables users to take call recording to a whole new level and demand is likely to flourish for such capabilities. In other VoIP call recording news, ASC (News - Alert) recently announced its Cisco (News - Alert) VoIP call recording solution will be used for London-based investment bank Daiwa Capital Markets Europe Ltd. in efforts to extend its branches throughout Europe and the Middle East. For the latest in call recording benefits, Callfinity (News - Alert) has released a new white paper titled "Call Recording: The Ultimate Tool for Improving Contact Center Performance," which describes the benefits of call recording and how contact center administrators can use call recording to effectively train agents.
