SIP Print Joins SIP Center to Educate Consumers on SIP TechnologiesWhen SIP-based VoIP call recording provider, SIP Print, was selected by Avaya, a business communications provider, to be a member of its Avaya DevConnect (News - Alert) program, the company joined more than just a group of companies with the same developmental goals.
In addition to combining professional initiatives with companies in the IP telephony, contact center and mobility application industries, SIP Print (News - Alert) also became involved in the SIP Center, a global community Web site for those interested in SIP technology.
According to Don Palmer (News - Alert), CEO and president of SIP Print, the SIP Center community promotes and invites users of SIP technology, or those looking to implement SIP technology, to explore those SIP companies that may fit their specific needs or applications.
“Although Avaya (News - Alert) owns this site it does not reflect only those Avaya users but a blend of any and all SIP type organizations interested in developing SIP technology,” Palmer told TMCnet in a recent interview. “SIP Print has a unique technology for the SIP market as you know and many businesses are looking for SIP recording and this is a place for them to find us.”
For existing SIP Print customers, the SIP Center can serve as an educational platform to answer any and all questions.
“Current customers can learn what other SIP technology they may be able to utilize for their business, while seeing what other SIP technology will integrate with their SIP print system,” Palmer said. “New potential customers can learn what other applications, such as VoIP PBX (News - Alert) systems and hosted SIP products, would work with a SIP print system.”
For a company like SIP Print, involving itself in a large public venue like SIP Center was a way to showcase its interoperability with most IP PBX systems, like Avaya.
“Any business utilizing Avaya IP products can benefit by using SIP Print’s technology to record all calls and protect their business investments,” Palmer said, adding that, since the SIP market is growing so rapidly, the SIP Center site is useful for those investigating SIP and SIP Print.
“I believe that any Avaya customer would benefit greatly by integrating SIP Print and it only highlights the fact that SIP Print integrates well with Avaya platforms as well as many others,” he added.
