SIP Print Joins Avaya Call Recording ProgramSIP Print, a SIP-based VoIP call recording provider, has been selected by Avaya Inc., a business communications provider, for membership in the Avaya (News - Alert) DevConnect program.
SIP Print, a company who brings advanced call recording capabilities within reach of SMBs, will join the program which promotes the development, compliance-testing and co-marketing of innovative third-party products that are compatible with standards-based Avaya solutions.
Members within the program have expertise ranging from IP telephony, contact centers and mobility applications, extending value to telecom industry networks to transform these applications into value-driven results that enhance the bottom line.
In June 2009, SIP Print (News - Alert) introduced the SIP Print Labs certification program, designed to ensure reliability and high performance for SIP call recording in specific environments.
Jonathan Fuld, chief technical officer at SIP Print, said that the SIP Print Lab Certification program grew out of the increasing market demand for interoperability information – especially among SMB organizations in industries with strong call recording requirements – like financial, legal, healthcare and emergency services.
“SIP Print Labs was created to collaborate with IP-PBX (News - Alert) vendors, customers and channel partners to define standards of interoperability and performance for SIP based systems including audio, video and other media streaming systems of which the first certification program is call recording applications on SIP-based phone systems,” said Fuld.
SIP Print Labs was made, not only to certify voice recording interoperability with VoIP PBX’s, but to certify interoperability of audio, voice and other media streaming systems from different vendors.
“Customers, vendors and channel partners will benefit knowing that the phone systems certified by SIP Print Labs will exceed their expectations in delivering highly reliable, high performance SIP call recording," said Fuld.
Same goes for SIP’s new membership in the Avaya DevConnect program.
Don Palmer (News - Alert), chief executive officer of SIP Print, said that the membership in Avaya’s developer community will help the company build its business by serving customers and channel partners more efficiently.
“By leveraging Avaya resources and working more closely with the company to deliver compliance-tested solutions to the market, we are able to reduce network complexity, improve security and reliability and speed time to deployment so businesses can quickly realize a benefit to their bottom line," said Palmer.
"Development partners like SIP Print are helping Avaya dramatically expand the options available to its customers," said Eric Rossman, vice president, developer relations and technical alliances, Avaya.
As a member of the DevConnect (News - Alert) program, companies have access to a wide range of support from Avaya, including technical resources and training. There are three levels of membership – registered, gold and platinum – each entailing progressive levels of marketing and sales involvement. SIP Print is a gold member of the Avaya DevConnect program.
