Integrated Research Incorporates Integrated Voice Quality Monitoring for Microsoft Lync, Cisco, AvayaIntegrated Research (News - Alert), a developer and distributor of performance monitoring and diagnostics software for business-critical IT infrastructure, recently incorporated Prognosis VoIP Monitor with integrated voice quality monitoring for Microsoft Lync and Cisco Unified Communications (News - Alert) Manager, in addition to continued Avaya voice quality management. Integrated Research is the creator of Prognosis, which provides real-time voice quality management for single and multi-vendor Avaya (News Prognosis VoIP Monitor provides deep drill-down displays with the information needed to investigate, troubleshoot and resolve issues before they impact business or customers. This includes server and PBX (News - Alert) health, voice quality, active and completed calls, gateway usage and capacity, out of the box alerts and reports, HTML5 interface and bring your own device ready. Integrated Research CEO, Mark Brayan said in a statement, “Microsoft Lync is inherently multivendor as it uses hardware and software from other vendors. We have taken the best of our existing product, embraced state of the art technologies and created world-class unified voice quality monitoring for Avaya, Microsoft Lync and Cisco.” Embracing the evolving role of the voice administrator, Prognosis VoIP Monitor 4 is built using the latest mobile and tablet-friendly technology, so the voice administrator is empowered whether in the office or on the move. A custom-built native iOS app, Prognosis First Responder, is now available to enable alerts to be viewed, prioritized and auctioned from an iPhone or iPad. Alert details can easily be forwarded from within the app by e-mail or SMS to your iPhone contacts.
“As we’ve had over 12 years of extensive experience in managing VoIP, users don’t need to create any monitoring or alert conditions, they’re all there right out of the box – across multiple vendors,” said John Dunne (News - Alert), general manager, Products and Alliances. “Unlike probe-based solutions network managers don’t have to interfere with existing network structure or security; and with minimal set up Prognosis VoIP Monitor eases Lync integration into existing VoIP environments.” Edited by Allison Boccamazzo
