Alteva Delivers Cloud VoIP to ABC NewsAlteva (News - Alert), a cloud-based Unified Communications (UC) solution provider and subsidiary of Warwick Valley Telephone Company, provided new portable HD telecommunications solutions to ABC News at the Republican National Convention in Tampa, FL held last week. The company will also deliver its solutions for the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, NC this week. The company notes that the ABC News political team covering the conventions operates from an office on wheels that includes a hosted unified communications solution from Alteva. The user-friendly solution can easily be moved to remote locations has the ability to support multiple broadcasts and will effectively support production crews, reporters and anchors with e-mail, faxing and HD voice communications. “Alteva, which helps corporations run more efficiently every day, was selected for its highly reliable solution and rapid turnaround. We were able to test and prove our solution within a 24 hour window and selected as the vendor of choice due to our unsurpassed customer service and quality of communications solutions,” said Louis Hayner (News - Alert), chief sales officer, WVT Communications Group. Alteva will leverage the Voice over IP (VoIP) platform to provide redundancy in two backup locations to ensure safe and secure access to communications functions. The platform will also serve as a precautionary measure for hurricane conditions in Tampa. "We are proud of our team that moved quickly in a very tight window and we're looking forward to future assignments that demonstrate our ability to meet mission-critical challenges with our high quality solutions," added Hayner. In today’s economy, tracking ROI is essential – whether it be monitoring your sales department for content and quantity - managing your staff to allocate resources effectively - or learning about the quality of your marketing campaigns. It’s important to know that your capital is being used appropriately. Alteva Call Reporting brings added value to your unified communications solution. Its benefits include compliance, enhancing and providing efficient customer service, measuring and tracking marketing campaigns and tracking billable hours accurately. Alteva was in news earlier this month when Alteva Hosted Unified Communications (News - Alert) Services was selected to receive a 2011 Communications Solutions Product of the Year Award by TMC (News - Alert).
