VSC Solutions to offer VOIPFUTURE Voice Quality SLA in Asia-PacificVSC Solutions, a provider of carrier-grade leading edge technology to monitor and analyze voice quality in IP network, announced it has been appointed as a reseller for VOIPFUTURE solutions in Asia-Pacific. The partnership provides an exciting new tool in the total solutions provided by VSC. VOIPFUTURE system is a voice quality monitoring service for IP networks. It consists of passive RTP monitoring probes, which are deployed at network borders, and features a central application manager platform with a data warehouse. By analyzing RTP streams in real time, and provide dedicated voice metrics for each 5 second segment of each stream. The voice analysis data is stored in VOIPFUTURE quality data records (QDR) and maintained by the application manager which post-processes the information and offers a graphical interface to the users. The reseller partnership with VOIPFUTURE enables VSC Solutions to implement new tool for voice quality assurance offering real-time detailed picture of the quality of carried VoIP traffic. Additionally it provides a deep insight in the network performance to help pinpoint the probable causes of voice quality degradation in a network. The VOIPFUTURE call correlation mechanism matches multiple media streams including those from early media; like ring tones or tariff announcements, codec changes and network address translation (NAT) impaired sources to the correct signaling session. “The real-time call quality metrics support enhanced routing logic and right-sizing of your network resources. Accurate and timely traffic performance can help to reduce network utilization resulting in a CAPEX savings, while an overall improvement in voice quality contributes significantly to a positive customer experience and level of satisfaction,” stated YN Pong, CTO of VSC Solutions, in a statement. “The ability to quantitatively evaluate voice quality in real-time and assign the media stream to the actual call enables unparalleled management of service level assurance for customers using VoIP services,” said Benny Ng, VP of Business Development for VSC Solutions, in a statement. Recently VSC Solutions also released a VoIP Dialer with full SILK codec support for an iPhone with full infrastructure support for telecom service providers.
